Shipping Times, Policies and Guidelines

NOTICE: Due to the overwhelming demand for deliveries across the U.S., it's territories and Military posts, as well as modified practices by our shipping carriers to keep their workforce and patrons safe, customers should anticipate delivery delays for the foreseeable future. Therefore, we are unable to give you an exact time-frame of your order's arrival date. Please use the provided USPS tracking information that will be emailed to you to check online for info updates on your shipment. Delays of several days and even weeks are not uncommon at the moment. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

SHIPPING: Orders shipped via USPS Only and are usually processed in the order of which they are received. If you need an order by a particular date, contact us and we will see what we can do. We will typically ship orders 2-5 times per week via USPS First Class and some via Priority Mail. Expedited (Priority) orders are processed as soon as we can and will be shipped via the carrier and shipping method of our choosing. We Do Not guarantee an actual delivery date; this also applies to Expedited orders. The transit/ transportation time for our shipments is commonly between 3 to 7 business days, After the order has been processed. You will be sent notifications automatically stating when your order is on the move and when it has been delivered. In cases where we receive a large influx of orders, experience a shortage, there is a crisis that produces unforeseen events, natural disasters, backorders, stock interruptions, etc., it could take a month or more for us to ship some orders. Orders may be combined with those you place from other sites and/or marketplaces that we sell with/on if they are going to the same address. We Do Not offer guaranteed 1 or 2 day deliveries. With most shipments, a tracking number will be assigned and is available in your order details page. We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time and refuse shipment to particular countries or buyers. Once we assign the tracking # to your order, please note that the order may NOT have shipped yet. Check the tracking information to confirm that the order is in transit. Orders may be placed on backorder or substituted with similar or alternative items, depending on stock and availability.

Occasionally app or web host issues can show shipping carrier or services that we do not offer at checkout, like UPS or DHL. As stated above, we ONLY ship via USPS and with either First Class or Priority Mail services. 

We are generally open Mon-Fri and closed most weekends, holidays and some days right before and after holidays. 

PRICES: When purchasing multiple items from us and are interested in a price-break, you must contact us Before you place your order. We will not issue a price break after the order has been placed. Sale prices are not retroactive. Coupon/Discount codes will not be combined in most cases.

RETURN POLICY: We are Not accepting returns at the moment, unless we determine we made an error. By placing this order you acknowledge you have both read and understand this policy. Our shipping and handling costs, including items with free shipping, are not refundable, unless we made an error or product is damaged. We do not accept returns due to clothing not fitting properly. The shipping fee deducted from your refund will typically be a minimum of approximately $4.95. We reserve the right to request photo or other visual documentation for any item a customer states is damaged or defective. Failure to provide such documentation may result in a refund/ return claim being immediately denied. We recommend issues such as wrinkles, collapsed caps and related be ironed on a lower setting and starching items, as with any clothing. Cap bills/ brims can be reshaped. Seek online help for assistance. No refunds will be provided for such issues. The item and package must be in new, unused condition and all tags need to be returned. Refused shipments for undamaged products, without our permission, may not be refunded. We will send a replacement, issue a full or partial refund if there is an error on our part or we believe you received a defective item.

PRODUCT CONDITION: Items are in new condition unless otherwise stated. At times, items may be damaged during handling or shipping. If you receive a damaged/ defective item, contact us immediately. We may require evidence (photos). Note that flattened, creased, wrinkled and such item issues do not qualify as damage. It is also normal for some items to have strings/ threading that the seamstress did not cut close; some may be in excess and need trimming. Please make your purchase with this in mind as refunds are not provided for such occurrences.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:  Returns are NOT accepted for International Buyers unless there was an error on our part. We are not liable for lost, damaged or stolen items. Most items will be shipped via USPS First Class International Mail; thus, there is limited tracking information provided by USPS for international packages and the package is out of our control once it leaves the United States. While we may ship the order promptly, please be aware that depending on where you live, packages may take weeks or even months to arrive and may not clear customs. Customers are solely responsible for any and all tariffs, taxes, import fees, etc associated with orders placed with us. If you have any questions regarding shipments to your country, please contact your local postal service and the Customs Department for your country.

We reserve the right to modify or delete any information above, at any time and for any reason. Fraudulent claims, returns or threats will be subject to potential legal action and/or reported to governing agencies if necessary. By placing an order with Buy Caps and Hats, you are acknowledging that our policies are lawfully binding and that you have read, understand, agree, and will adhere to them.
